on its back has bloomed into a flower which makes it slower than the
others. The most powerful move Venasaur does is Solar Beam, which on
the gameboy takes two turns to use, because it needs to take in sunlight.
But if you use the move Sunny Day it does not need to take in sunlight
for 5 turns. |

not evolve. It is the strongest of the three starter Pokemon. It is
said that its fire is so strong it can split boulders. Charizard is

ability to fly. Charizard's strongest move it learns is Flamethrower
but it can be taught Fire Blast which is even stronger. |

look like a cute turtle but don't be fooled, its water attacks can
be very powerful. It is the third starter Pokemon from Professor Oak

Caterpie is a bug type Pokemon. It is a weak Pokemon,
but it has the advantage of Stringshot, which wraps the enemy in a
tight cacoon of gooey string. Caterpie has small feet which have suction
pads on the bottom so it is able to climb up vertally anything from
trees to walls. Although it is a weak Pokemon, Caterpie does not need
much training to evolve. |

evolved form of Kakuna. It is a great deal stronger than Kakuna and
when it evolves it gets the ability to fly. Beedrill has poisonous
stingers in its tail and legs which it uses for attacks like 'Poison
Sting' or 'Twin Needle'. Beedrill is the final evolutionary stage of
Weedle meaning it does not evolve. |

Pidgey is a small flying type bird Pokemon. It is a
common Pokemon often found in forests and dense areas. Pidgey aren't
very strong but they are very reliable, and can be used to deliver
messages and important things. In the wild, they kick up sand into
their opponents face to blind them then make an escape, but if defeated,
Pidgey is an easy Pokemon to capture. |

Pidgeotto is a normal/flying Pokemon. Although it is stronger
than Pidgey it is usually still not powerful enough to carry humans

Pidgeotto are very protective of their domain and will fiercly
attack any intruders. It takes hard work to evolve Pidgey into
Pidgeotto but it is a very loyal Pokemon.
